2025 Call for Presenters

What: Florida AER’s “Teaching with FLAER” Conference
Where: Embassy Suites, Altamonte Springs
When: October 22-24, 2025

 

The Florida AER Chapter is pleased to present the Call for Presentations for the 2025 Biennial Conference. The theme of this year’s conference is “Teaching with FLAER.” We encourage all education and rehabilitation professionals to share their expertise by presenting their fresh ideas, innovative insights, successful programs, or research results at this well-respected biennial event.

• Speakers can earn professional development credits/units

• Presenters will be offered a reduced registration rate of $125

• Sessions are 60-75 minutes in length

• Deadline for proposal submission is March 1, 2025

As in previous years, the goal of the conference is to offer continuing education units/credits and networking opportunities for professionals in the field of visual impairment. Please take this opportunity to help the 2025 conference planning committee develop a well-balanced program that addresses a wide range of issues facing education and rehabilitation professionals serving children and adults who are blind and visually impaired. We hope you will consider becoming directly involved by sharing your ideas and strategies. Please share this information with others who may be interested in presenting.
